Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our friendly team at Cefn Coed Hospital (CCH), delivering a high quality service to our patients on mental health and learning disabilities wards and units across Swansea Bay University Health Board.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience a number of specialities including acute adult services, rehabilitation, forensic, older peoples mental health , perinatal mental health and Learning Disabilities wards.

The post holder will also work closely with the community mental health teams to help promote evidence based prescribing, and will be involved in the delivery of a range of clinical pharmacy services including lithium , clozapine and ADHD clinics.

The health board subscribe to, and participate in the Prescribing Observatory for Mental Health (POMH -UK) audits and QI., The successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience a number of specialities including acute adult services, rehabilitation, forensic, older peoples mental health , perinatal mental health and Learning Disabilities wards.

The post holder will also work within the community mental health teams to help promote evidence based prescribing and physical health monitoring. They will be key to delivery of a range of clinical pharmacy services including lithium , ADHD and clozapine clinics.

It is essential that you have current registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
