Full Job Description

Yeovil College, is excited to invite a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team! With 140 hours of support per academic year, you'll play a key role in transforming the educational experience for students with speech, language, and communication needs, ensuring they can thrive and fully engage with the curriculum. Working closely with the college SENDCo, teaching staff, support staff, and external agencies, you will help create an inclusive environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. As part of this role, you will conduct detailed assessments of students referred to the service, analyse results, and develop tailored therapy plans to meet their specific needs. You'll set clear, achievable therapy goals, guiding each student's progress and supporting their journey towards success.   • A strong interest in working with young people with SEND.
  • A degree in Speech and Therapy
  • Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
  • The ability to work successfully within a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
