Are you a motivated and energetic Sports Assistant with a passion for promoting physical fitness and wellbeing? We are looking for a dedicated Sports Assistant to join a vibrant SEN school in Guildford, where you'll play a key role in supporting the PE department and encouraging students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs to thrive through physical activity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sports Assistant who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive impact., As a Sports Assistant at this Guildford-based school, you'll support PE teachers in delivering a high-quality sports programme. From helping with lessons to organising sports events, your role as a Sports Assistant will be essential in providing students with a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where they can explore and enjoy sports. This role is perfect for someone who values teamwork, creativity, and the benefits of physical education.,

  • Assist PE teachers in planning and conducting sports lessons and physical activities.
  • Supervise students during sports sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Help organise and manage school sports events and competitions.
  • Maintain sports equipment and facilities, ensuring everything is ready for use.
  • Motivate and encourage students to participate in physical activities, fostering a love for sports.

    A genuine passion for sports and physical education.
  • English and Mathematics GCSE at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally those with SEMH needs.
