An exciting opportunity has arisen at Campion ward for a full-time enthusiastic and caring nurse who is keen to support patients and deliver care in supportive and complex working environment. We are a nine-bed short to medium term assessment and treatment ward for people with mental health needs, when learning disability is the primary diagnosis. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and skilled Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager to join our caring nursing team.Main duties of the job

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Ensuring the holistic well-being of our patients is paramount. You will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care programmes that cater to the clinical, environmental, and social needs of each patient. Collaboration with senior nursing staff members for guidance and direction is encouraged whenever necessary.
  • Clinical Leadership: You will play a pivotal role in the clinical leadership of our Mental Health ward. This involves coordinating and delivering top-tier nursing care, while actively engaging with other healthcare professionals and support service providers.
  • Professional Development: As part of your professional growth, you will occasionally take charge of the ward, working under the supervision of senior, qualified nursing staff members or colleagues. This hands-on experience will be instrumental in your journey toward becoming a well-rounded nursing professional.
