Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to play a key role in supporting the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of pupils. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated and nurturing team in supporting learning, progress and attainment within the classroom.

  • Has experience working with children, particularly of infant school age.

  • Deployment of the successful candidate will depend on skills, experience and need across the Federation. Teaching Assistant Post - Grade 5, Scale point 11 -14 (£27,269 - £28,264 per annum pro rata), term time only, 38 weeks, permanent core hours of 16.65 with temporary uplift to 27.9 hours in the first instance. This position has an attached Midday Supervisor role - Grade 2, Scale point 2-3 (£23,656-£24,027 per annum pro rata) for 2.5 hours term time only, 38 weeks per year., Please see our school website https://www.longlevensinfantschool.co.uk/ for more information about our school including:
