Full Job Description

We seek to recruit the very best support staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our school. This role requires a suitable person to support Key Stage 3 pupils, following the strategies and guidance outlined in the EHCP. They may be required to give support to other pupils with similar needs, as directed. They will give 1:1 support as necessary during the school day, assisting pupils with their work, keeping them to their routine, and working with subject teachers to ensure that the child's needs are being fully met. The post is for 32.5 hours per week, 8.30 am until 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus INSET days (39 weeks per year) and will commence as soon as possible. The salary offered for this post will be Local Government Grade 5, points 11-14, approximately £19,605.91 to £20,628.50 (proportionate to the full-time salary currently £25,979 to £27,334) per annum.
