Full Job Description

YMCA Dulverton Group are seeking a vibrant individual to lead our new team in Bridgwater, working at a Housing Site providing temporary accommodation for families within Somerset. We're in search of a dedicated person to take the lead of the Housing Team, providing guidance, support, and motivating the team to deliver high quality Housing and Support for families experiencing homelessness.

In the role, you will have responsibility for managing the day to day operations of the Supported Housing service. This includes leading a small team, maintaining high service quality, ensuring referrals are handled appropriately and speedily, managing void levels, handling data and reports, direct engagement with customers, and upholding meticulous record-keeping standards.

Taking an asset-based approach, you'll proactively foster positive growth for the families we support. Building professional, positive, and trusting relationships, you'll cultivate a supportive environment that inspires a transition to greater independence whilst building resilience. While it may pose challenges, the work is immensely rewarding, fostering a sense of belonging, contribution, and thriving for each family.
