The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., As with all theatre environments, each day with us has its own special demands as we have a variety of theatre activity on any given day so we are looking for individuals who are flexible, innovative, highly motivated with great people skills who want to learn and develop within a challenging and exciting area of patient care. Continuing professional development is encouraged and you will be expected to promote and participate actively in education, research, clinical governance, audit and guidelines. You will be encouraged to take part in the wide range of educational and training opportunities within the health board., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

If you are a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with current UK professional registration relevant for the post then we'd love to hear from you.
We would welcome applicants with Theatre experience or for those looking for a new challenge. Applicants who do not have previous theatre experience will undergo a full training and support programme to fully equip our staff with the skills they require.

Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English., Morriston Hospital Theatre department are looking to appoint Band 5 Recovery practitioner. You will be based in Morriston Hospital, but may need to work across site if required. The successful applicant will be part of a team who aim to deliver the highest standards of patient care for our patients within our theatre department.
