Transport Planner

Here at XPO, we take our people seriously. We're looking for a talented Transport Planner to join us on a full-time, permanent basis on our Aylesbury site for Arla. Working a typical Monday to Friday, core working hours, you'll support the planning activities, allocation of routes, and cos-effective sub-contracting for the site, ensuring our deliveries get out the door in a timely, safe and compliant manner.,

• Control route and resource plans, ensuring all drivers are scheduled in order to achieve contractual delivery times.
• To achieve weekly and monthly KPIs as set by the business and / or Customer Service
• regarding the plan and/or with the drivers
  
  A strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Competent decision making
What you need to succeed at XPO:
• A good understating of fast-paced transport teams
• Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
