Training spans various surgical specialties, complex airway cases, and regional anesthesia.

Effective communication with medical and service departments within the Trust and other hospitals is essential. The post-holder will provide anaesthetic care at William Harvey Hospital, mainly under consultant supervision, with chances for independent work based on experience. This 48-hour-per-week role includes a 1:8 on-call rota, with two junior anaesthetists covering all emergency work, collaborating closely with intensive care and ED colleagues.
