Full Job Description

As a Project Manager, your role encompasses several critical tasks. You are entrusted with delivering significant technology and business change initiatives that propel Thames' progress toward achieving business area goals and desired outcomes. Here are the key aspects of your responsibility:

+ Identify, engage and manage direct and indirect stakeholders appropriately, in the context of their role.
+ Define and adopt appropriate project management methodology and tools based on the project's context.
+ Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders to provide updates on the project progress and to maintain awareness of business needs and priorities.
+ Produce regular project status reports and tailor updates based on stakeholder needs
+ Identify, assess, and manage risks effectively, utilising project governance to provide visibility/escalate as appropriate.
+ Create and maintain project cost models covering actual, accrual, and forecast.
+ maintain the project's scope, plan, resources & budget that will successfully deliver the business objectives - ensuring that the project aligns with the organizational goal and outcomes.

+ A truly digital mindset. Open to collaboration. Open to risk. Open to new ways of doing things.
+ Obsessed with data. Obsessed with excellence.
+ Experience with different delivery methodologies for example Agile or Waterfall.
+ Experience in a digital background.
+ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex issues.
+ Extensive experience of standard PM responsibilities
+ Project commercials.
+ Project planning.
+ Forecasting and estimating.
+ Monitoring and reporting.
+ Risk & Issue management.
+ Finance management and budgeting.
+ Change management.

Desirable

+ Delivery of IT projects involving third-party suppliers.
+ Current Project Management certification. (Prince2, PMP, Agile PM, etc)

+ Competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
