Full Job Description

Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. In addition, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what's possible for the role and service.
In addition to being a part of the Renal team, the role will very much sit within the wider PEEER Youth service is a team which prides itself on being innovative, creative and inclusive, with a broad range of projects and activities to get involved in.
Health-based youth work is focused on ensuring the young person is central in their care pathways, ensuring that the other parts of a young persons life are considered and they are supported to work towards their priorities at their pace.
Clinical advocacy forms a large part of the role and attending clinical appointments with young people will be required.
In addition, the role will involve visiting young people in the community and supporting engagement in meaningful activities, exploring barriers within areas of their life that are important to them reaching their full potential and providing informal education on topics that they recognise are important.
A working day is varied, some youth work is delivered online and in the evening and weekends.
A driving license and access to a car is essential
