As a Senior Linux System Administrator based in Ripon you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering and maintaining infrastructure services and solutions to high levels of quality
- Acting as a technical point of contact in wider meetings, offering exceptional customer service to our colleagues
- Getting involved in project work and road mapping to look at future technologies for the business. This will include liaising with project managers
- Responding to queries from employees through our ticketing system and liaising with the service desk to resolve employees technical issues
This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Experience in supporting Solaris, Redhat Enterprise (RHEL) or Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) is essential so you can hit the ground running
- Experience in supporting RealityX databases
- Automation and scripting capabilities
- Experience with OLVM and Puppet or Ansible is desirable
