Working as a Business Support Officer (BSO) in a friendly and supportive team, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) team and also the Complex Weapons Team.,

• Will be based in our Bolton office, however, flexibility to travel to other sites may occasionally be required
• Provide pro-active, accurate and comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Managers within MEP and Complex Weapons teams
• Assisting new starters within the teams
• Monitor and action incoming requests via a shared inbox
• Manage office desk utilisation
• To provide pro-active, accurate and comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Management team members to include, but not limited to:
+ To manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses + To organising meetings, events, training days and participate when required and take and manage actions + Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, MS One Note and MS Word documents accurately
• Understanding and utilising MS Office and MBDA systems

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our dynamic team within the UK Support Function (UKSF) on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Salary: Circa £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience + bonus and benefits Location: Bolton (with flexibility to travel to other UK sites occasionally) Dynamic (hybrid) working: Working 2-3 days a week onsite with a flexible approach.
