Full Job Description

The North Wales Victim Help Centre is looking for an Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker (ISAC) to join our team in North Wales, working 22.5 hours a week over 3 days. This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working, you will work from home, our St Asaph office., This role is based St Asaph working 22.5 hours a week over 3 days. Ensuring the provision of individual structured, tailored support plans, based on a holistic assessment of impact and risk, within the framework of VS's Service Model. You may make initial contact with victims of crime, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management As an Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker you will be:

  • Providing a high quality pro-active service to victims of intimate and/or non-intimate stalking.
  • Contribute to increasing awareness of the impact of stalking on clients, including collaborative working with external agencies and developing safety and support plans tailored to the client's needs.
  • To develop, deliver, and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime, who accept ongoing support. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
  • Support those affected by crime in understanding and asserting their rights and entitlement.
  • Understanding their journey through the criminal justice and legal systems including the Victims Code of Practice
  • Facilitating access additional services
  • Establish healthy coping mechanisms
  • Provide practical support and information
