Full Job Description
The Customer Services Coordinator is responsible for developing an ethos of customer service excellence throughout UCL LCCOS by taking a lead in identifying service innovations which can be implemented to improve the user experience. They also lead our Accessibility Team whose aim is to remove barriers that are disabling our customers from using our facilities, collections and services. You will work collaboratively and innovatively with colleagues, supporting a culture change to promote customer service throughout the organisation from front-facing staff to support staff. Your role will directly support UCL's vision to provide excellent learning spaces and services and an inspirational user experience. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60% on site. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This is an internal secondment role, available to current UCL staff only. The secondment will run from Monday 14 April 2025 - Sunday 26 April 2026 inclusive. We are looking for candidates who in particular have the following experience and skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with students and senior members of the institution
- Ability to lead a team and work with colleagues towards strategic goals. Ability to self-motivate and to motivate colleagues in shared endeavours
- Excellent report-writing skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly
