Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri), Environmental Conditions Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), As a Product Support Scientist, you are responsible for providing technical support for Immunological and Biochemical ID products within the MBD Dartford portfolio. Your role ensures the robustness, safety, and performance of these products. This will include carrying out investigations, on reagents manufactured at MBD Dartford and compilation of data for validation, stability or other technical reports, as directed by the Product Support Manager or Product Support Coordinators/Senior Scientist Responsibilities: Technical Investigations/stabilities: Conduct technical investigations, including but not limited to feasibility studies, root cause analysis, and customer complaint investigations. Perform experimental stabilities and batch monitoring for products in the field. Validation: You will be driving the preparation and execution of validation documentation and activities, including process validation, analytical method validation and spreadsheet validation; ensuring the documentation is detailed, accurate and readily available. Where required provide technical justification to support the validation activities. Support equipment validation team where they effect the processes at MBD Dartford. Technical Changes: Ensure the robustness, safety, and quality of MBD Dartford products by monitoring and implementing technical changes in formulation, specification, and manufacturing processes, ensuring their successful implementation through the change control process. Improvement Recommendations: Identify and recommend improvements for product formulation and manufacturing processes. Make proactive recommendations to improve their performance and efficiency. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with team members, including customer care, QA, QC, RA, IVDR, Manufacturing Sciences, and Operations teams, to ensure efficient collaboration. Product Transfer: Where required support and manage product transfers from other sites to MBD Dartford, ensuring processes/ raw materials are effectively transferred and adhere to quality standards. Materials Changes: Implement changes in materials, as required, to improve product performance and address quality or supplier issues.
