Full Job Description

Reporting into the Logistics Services Manager, the successful Admin Team Leader will be working closely with the business; partnering the Logistics Optimisation and Transport Teams. You will also you will be responsible for the administration processes for circa 1500 contracted hauliers. On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Admin Team Leader will include (not exhaustive):

  • Ensuring day-to-day contract haulier vehicle management and administration are completed in line with SLAs
  • Supporting the manager with new initiatives and deputise for the Logistics Services manager when necessary
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing five direct reports which includes performance reviews, one to ones, development and training
  • Managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the team
  • Front facing with Hauliers, dealing with account queries, missing documents, replacement fuel cards and insurance amendments
  • Managing the vehicle onboarding and account termination process
  • Providing management information on volumes, KPIs and SLAs, identifying trends, process issues and root cause
  • Supporting the operational transport with ad hoc complex queries and requests
