Full Job Description

The Transformation Strategy team sits in the Transformation Directorate of NHS England and works closely with colleagues across the Transformation Directorate, NHS England and into the Department for Health and Social care. It is an exciting time to join the team, as we work with new ministers and their teams and our colleagues across NHS England to set out our plans for the health and care system of the future. We are responsible for the development of the strategy for a digital, data and technology enabled NHS, and we are currently working on defining our vision for the next 10 years - setting out how digital, data and technology can transform the health and care system, improving the health of the nation and ensuring its long-term sustainability for years to come. We are building our team to help develop this strategy. We are distilling the greatest issues society and the NHS face, identifying how digital, data and technology can best address these and working with national programme teams and our ICB colleagues to deliver meaningful, measurable change., We are recruiting a Strategy Analyst and the successful candidate can expect their work to be challenging, complex and extremely rewarding as well as working with some excellent people. We have an open, honest and supportive team culture and are looking to develop this further as new team members join us., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher. You can find more information on the Government website.

  • You have experience of analysis and reporting of digital, data or tech transformation initiatives, and telling stories about what the data is telling you

  • You are a data specialist with a strong understanding of the tech and data trends that will transform all of our lives over the next 5-10 years and;
  • You are a self-starter, hungry for the challenge of working on something that will genuinely impact the lives of everyone living in England in the years to come.
