Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an associate to join our Real Estate department. You will join a friendly, collegiate team that is widely recognised for its expertise in this area. The Real Estate team currently consists of 6 partners and around 13 lawyers. It is regarded as one of the leading real estate practices in the South East outside London, and is recommended by the leading independent legal directories. There is PSL and paralegal support within the department and access to a wide range of valuable on-line resources. The department handles a broad range of real estate work and includes teams dedicated to property litigation, construction and environmental. The main areas of expertise are:

  • Development
  • Investment
  • Corporate occupiers (including retail/office/industrial)
  • Banking
  • Clients include mid-tier businesses (whether quoted or owner-managed), household name PLCs and other major international groups, and high net worth private clients.

    Candidates should be a real team player with good inter-personal skills, strong academics and high quality experience - typically with a major City or leading national/regional practice. - successful candidates can expect to work with a number of partners within the group, in small and occasionally larger teams, as well as running cases with minimal supervision. We offer excellent supervision, coaching and training and are looking for a real go-getter to take ownership of matters wanting to build long term relationships with existing Clients and become a key member of our team. An appetite for business development will be a definite advantage.
