Full Job Description

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking to appoint an Associate Director within Project Management to be based in Leeds.   • Public and Private Sector work valued at £4m - £11m.
  • Growing and leading a team of Project Managers across the region.
  • Your core duties will include:
  • Providing project leadership and direction on complex projects and programmes.
  • Providing commercial management and leadership on commissions, undertaking Job Lead role on multi-disciplinary appointments.
  • Planning and monitoring the financial performance of the resource team, to achieve business targets.
  • Embracing cross discipline collaboration in business development and service delivery.
  • Providing excellent line management to colleagues, including providing associated pastoral care, recruitment, reviews, appraisals, and performance management.
  • Leading in single and multi-discipline bidding, fee tendering and client interviews.
  • Leading and developing new initiatives and innovations that will see increased levels of income to the business.
  • Representing the firm in developing significant new relationships that align with the practice's strategic goals, leading to high-value new business. This may involve networking and attending functions.
  • Undertaking the role of Client Account Manager (CAM) on significant client accounts.
  • Providing a focused approach to the further development of the client, resulting in sustainable and profitable long-term programmes of works.

    You will be committed to enhancing our positive working culture, by having a compassionate attitude and always treating others with respect.,
  • Be situated in or close to Leeds, have a sound knowledge of the local area and business landscape, and a reasonable network of professional connections within the industry.
  • Have significant relevant experience in a consultancy environment and industry knowledge across a variety of sectors.
  • Have a relevant qualification and/or membership of a professional body (RICS, CIOB, APM)
  • Have excellent contract knowledge.
  • Have excellent client communication skills, report writing skills and presentation skills.
  • Have line management experience.
  • In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you:
  • To have demonstrable experience in business development.
  • To be undertaking regular CPD activities.
