Full Job Description

  • Create and maintain the Python SDK and Python Notebooks for new datasets, working with Product Management, dataset specialists, and Sales.
  • Manage community feedback for the Python SDK, maintain code, and meet with customers and internal stakeholders to inform and prioritize improvements.
  • Review and improve API/WebSocket documentation and starter kits, expanding dataset coverage and identifying gaps.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create learning videos, technical documentation, user guides, and other collateral for Machine Delivery products.
  • Interact directly with clients to understand and evolve data delivery roadmaps and requirements, informing data strategy and governance.
  • Translate customer requirements into user stories, oversee product development projects, and ensure successful product launches through documentation, marketing support, and internal training sessions.

    You thrive on ownership and accountability. Delivery of complex projects involving product rollouts, tangible outcomes and measurable success are common in the team. You are able to demonstrate experience of delivering successfully on scope, in time, and on budget.
  • Experience at global FinTech, cloud or comparable data delivery or consumption company with client exposure
  • Working knowledge of the energy and commodities industry and the resulting client data expectations and requirements is critical
  • Familiarity with Python, RESTful APIs is a must, along with other data feed technologies like Websocket, FTP, and even cloud data warehousing products like Snowflake.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical or science major
  • Comfortable with both Agile and Lean methodologies

  • Customer-first mind-set with ability to understand and act on customer insight, generate new product and service offerings ideas based on customer interactions
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to link product design and features to strategic objectives while using data and metrics to substantiate assumptions and recommendations
  • Diplomacy and tenacity when managing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of business alongside a firm ability to assume positive intent
  • Keen interest and ability to stay up to date with current trends around Gen AI and LLM use-cases with our data, leveraging our deliveries
