Business Intelligence Developer

As the Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing data pipelines as well as performing analysis and reporting based on the data. This role is essential for turning complex data into actionable insight across the business, but also maintains a degree of freedom to creatively explore for new intelligence and improvements to processes. Reporting to the Data Team Lead , and working with team members from any aspect of the company, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. We have a strong bias to action as a company, prioritising operational efficiency over unnecessary bureaucracy. Tech stack: SQL (BigQuery/Postgres), Python, git, Docker,

• Own the ETL for the data warehouse
• Develop and maintain reports that are insightful and user-friendly
• Automate and streamline data operations
• Collaborate with engineering and data science for project pipelining
• Work with other team members to enable insights for their specific needs
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments
  
  Degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• 2 years' experience in a BI developer role or similar
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Expertise in database management and ETL processes
• Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery and Looker Studio experience preferable
• Experience in ecommerce preferable
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Commercially focused
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
