Full Job Description

As a Team Administrator, you will provide administrative support to your local Family Support Team, enabling them to spend more time with the families we support. Your role may include:

  • Carrying out general administrative tasks
  • Taking and circulating team meeting minutes
  • Collating information/assessment packs
  • Preparing packs for training
  • Producing promotional materials
  • Answering telephone enquiries

  • Experience of working in an office in an administrative role
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn our
  • in-house database
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience of interacting with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
  • Ability to empathise with families in stressful circumstances
  • An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality

  • A dedicated member of Rainbow Trust staff will guide and support you
  • in your work
  • You will receive a full induction to the charity and a programme of training relevant to your role, to help you get the most from your time with us

  • bereavement, health and safety, confidentiality and GDPR
  • Further modules will be available for you if you would like to develop
