Full Job Description
As a Team Administrator, you will provide administrative support to your local Family Support Team, enabling them to spend more time with the families we support. Your role may include:
- Carrying out general administrative tasks
- Taking and circulating team meeting minutes
- Collating information/assessment packs
- Preparing packs for training
- Producing promotional materials
- Answering telephone enquiries

Experience of working in an office in an administrative role- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn our in-house database
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience of interacting with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Ability to empathise with families in stressful circumstances
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
- Flexible approach with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- To enable you to get the most out of your volunteer role, we are looking for volunteers who are available to volunteer for the next 12 months Training and Support:
- A dedicated member of Rainbow Trust staff will guide and support you in your work
- You will receive a full induction to the charity and a programme of training relevant to your role, to help you get the most from your time with us
- Training will cover areas such as safeguarding, active listening skills, bereavement, health and safety, confidentiality and GDPR
- Further modules will be available for you if you would like to develop your knowledge
