Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Research Lead (fixed term for 18 months) who will form part of the Research and Innovation Team which is part of the Education and Research Directorate at DBTH. The post holder will be instrumental in supporting and growing research activity and recruitment, leading as appropriate in research governance whilst increasing the Trust's research skills, knowledge and capacity base, via supporting and leading (as appropriate) the delivery of the Trust's Research and Innovation Strategy. This can be offered as a secondment however approval from your current line manager would be required before applying., The post holder will work as a skilled and effective member of both the Research & Innovation management team (comprised of Portfolio Leads, Head of Research and Education and Research Business Manager) and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team, to promote and support the delivery of Research and Innovation. Working closely with the Research and Innovation team in addition to support services within the Trust, the post holder will be instrumental in supporting and growing commercial research activity, supporting and leading as appropriate in research governance whilst increasing the Trust's research (in particular commercial research) skills, knowledge and capacity base, via supporting and leading (as appropriate) the delivery of the Trust's Research and Innovation Strategy.
