Closing date for applications: 11th November 2024 at 11.59pm Salary: London Living Wage Duration: 6 months Working hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week, ideally Tuesday - Thursday Location: Punchdrunk Enrichment's office and venue at Watkin Road, Wembley Park Start date: January 2025 This is a brilliant entry point into a creative arts career for an intern seeking insight into the general management of a charity-run venue. Punchdrunk Enrichment (PDE) is a charity creating transformational theatrical experiences for education, community, and family audiences. The charity devises immersive productions and projects that have a powerful impact by placing people at the heart of an unforgettable journey. The Company Intern will act as a first point of contact for PDE guests, suppliers and couriers; arranging company-wide meetings, events, travel, and being involved in working groups. The Intern will also be involved with HR and recruitment, data management and general management of the
venue. Alongside these administrative and logistical tasks, the intern will assist PDE producers with delivering work for schools and other audiences. Key activities Company coordination To act as a welcoming and helpful first point of contact for enquiries, by telephone and email. To schedule weekly company meetings and manage a list of chairs and minute-takers. To take minutes of the monthly Extended Programme and Projects Meeting. To book couriers and other deliveries as necessary. To liaise with suppliers and visitors as appropriate. To support the company inventory log tracking. To support with enabling clear and sufficient communication amongst the staff team, including the sharing of calendars, looking after the shared company diary and regularly updating shared information. To assist with the maintenance of the company's filing and archiving systems, both digital and paper. To assist with the company's IT and telephone needs, liaising with the IT support team when necessary. HR
administration To assist the Production and Company Coordinator with new starter inductions ensuring all systems and equipment are in place. To assist with the administration of Punchdrunk Enrichment's recruitment processes. To process DBS checks for office and freelance staff as required. Data management To support project teams in ensuring all data and feedback is collated and filed in an accessible location. To support the Data Protection Officer in maintaining compliance with Data Protection legislation. To support in maintaining details of office accounts, suppliers and contractors in 1Password, and sharing with the team when required. Building management To assist with general office management including opening and distributing mail, general housekeeping, and monitoring and ordering office supplies and kitchen consumables when running low. Project / production support To provide ad hoc assistance with project administration as required by the Programme & Projects team.
To support the production team in organising travel, transport and logistics for projects, where required. General duties To play an active part in development, promotion and implementation of company policies and the staff handbook. To represent and advocate for the company across meetings, events, productions, presentations and workshops. Full participation in company activities, meetings and processes. To act at all times in the best interests of the Punchdrunk Enrichment. To be an enthusiastic advocate of Punchdrunk Enrichment and have a thorough understanding of the company's mission, vision and aims. What we're looking for A keen interest in the arts. Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. Good level of numeracy. Good organisational and administrative skills. Working knowledge of IT systems including Google Drive. Ability to work quickly, methodically and accurately, and to problem solve proactively and creatively. Manages
time and workload effectively, willing to ask for help when needed. Willingly shares ideas, resources and information with others. Positive, approachable, personable, can-do attitude with the ability to be flexible and adaptable. Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
