Full Job Description

  • Develop a strategic roadmap for client engagement for all covered segments ( FI, NR, Exporters, Intermediaries) and capability deployment ensuring that the maximum benefit can be taken from all client opportunities.
  • Develop global exporter strategy to drive the Export LC business globally through origination of LC confirmation and discounting transactions from both clients and non- client of the bank.
  • Develop understanding of the key regional differences of the client segments/clients and amend global strategies accordingly.
  • Partner with Trade Sales and Client coverage teams to drive the execution of global strategies (i.e. Exporter, FI, NR & intermediaries) for all covered segments for EMEA domiciled clients.
  • Work closely and consistently with trade sales and client coverage teams to maintain Share Of Mind for Core Trade products and to also position the importance of Core Trade to our clients.
  • Ensure accountability of the partner groups to pitch Core Trade products with their clients and achieve relevant targets.
  • Drive client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status.
  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create.
  • Identify product/capability gaps with Citi's product offering through feedback from Trade Sales, Client coverage and direct from clients.
  • Work directly with Core Trade Product groups (i.e. Network and Manufacturing) to identify the gaps and subsequent solutions and prioritise as needed.
  • Drive achievement of segment financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well any other identified KPI.
  • Lead innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practice control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

    Broad and diverse function experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development and analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations and requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
