This 9 month secondment opportunity is available to current employees at the University of Leeds only
This role will be based on the University campus. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you want to play a key role in leading an inclusive and ambitious People and Culture strategy to a diverse workforce? Do you have significant experience of connecting with a range of people and services to develop and implement strategy? Can you review, analyse and present data to a range of leaders and services?
The first aim of the Facilities Directorate's business plan, Our Way Ahead, sets out the Facilities Directorates ambition to develop an inclusive culture that enables staff to thrive and succeed both professionally and personally.
The Facilities Directorate requires someone to lead the implementation of this strategy, working across all levels of the Facilities Directorate and the University community. They will require strong network and communication skills to help continue embed the FD's People & Culture Strategy to both Our Way Ahead and the University's strategy to ensure meaningful and long-lasting change is achieved.
The secondment will have the following key responsibilities within the 9 month period:
o Leadership and delivery of the current FD people and Culture plan
o Leadership of the FD People and Culture work streams;
o Supporting leaders plan and response to the recent pulse surveys;
o Lead the preparation, delivery and analysis for the FD of the 2025 Employee Engagement survey;
o Work closely with senior leaders to develop FD response and action plan to the 2025 survey;
o Support a variety FD change related projects.
You will have significant experience of working in or with the Facilities Directorate and have experience of working at a senior level with a proven ability to think and plan strategically with a track record of successfully translating strategy into reality. You will have strong influencing skills with a range of stakeholders, with the ability to engage with multiple diverse groups.
You will report to the Director of Campus Innovation: Campus Services, Experience & Commercial, however, you will work alongside senior leaders in the Facilities Directorate to progress the People and Culture strategy and embed this across the Facilities directorate.
