Full Job Description

As Donor Relations Manager you will join a supportive and dynamic Donor Relations team, which sits as part of our wider Alumni and Supporter Experience function. The team works closely with colleagues across Advancement to build exceptional relationships with a broad range of impactful donors and is responsible for delivering an innovative gold-standard donor experience that attracts, engages and retains supporters in both the UK and overseas. This includes meaningful acknowledgment, reporting on the impact of gifts, naming and recognition, and other bespoke engagement and stewardship activity (including digital) to deepen our donors' relationship with UCL and the areas they support. We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE - equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata). This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

To excel in the role, you will be a collaborative, enthusiastic and self-starting team player, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. You will have a strong understanding of the importance of stewardship and its role in successful relationship management, and of delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will also be experienced in managing multiple priorities as part of a wider team. We are pleased to accept applications from individuals who possess transferable skills and experience drawn from sectors outside of Higher Education.
