Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a part time, 22.5 hours per week, all year-round Duty Officer to join our Academy team at Merchants' Academy Sports Centre in Withywood, Bristol.,

  • Be responsible for all community bookings from enquiry to end of booking, face to face, by email or telephone.
  • Be responsible for all sports equipment, i.e. badminton nets and posts, aerobic steps, cricket nets, goal posts, etc.; and ensure that they are set up, put away and stored safely
  • To deal with collection and safe storage of monies
  • To act as a point of contact for all Lettings
  • Be responsible for the security of internal premises and the immediate perimeter of the school building, calling for assistance if necessary
  • Reporting and recording any defects in the building's fabric to the site Manager, ensuring staff and the public's Health and Safety. Support site team, if required, with general site maintenance duties, as directed by the Regional Community Manager
