This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Criminal Justice department as an Evidential and Court Preparation Administrator.

An opportunity has arisen to join the team in Prosecution Support Unit within Prosecution and Victim Services Department. The Prosecution Support Unit works with the Crown Prosecution Service, Her Majesties Court Services and Probation. Working as part of the team, your work will be key to the delivery of effective liaison between the units and counter agencies.

What you'll do

You will undertake a range of clerical duties to support and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided. This will include preparing charge files, postal requisitions and processing information to ensure all files are up to date.
To support the flow of information between the Force, HMCTS and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), you will input and extract data from computer systems, meeting required deadlines and ensuring a smooth process for all.
Using your strong communication skills, you will respond to enquiries from both internal and external parties, ensuring they are referred or redirected to the relevant staff, ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will assist in preparing remand hearings (Please note this will involve Saturday morning working on a rota basis roughly 1 in 3 weekends).

Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
Confidence to multitask, recording information accurately with attention to detail.
Able to manage workloads and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met.
Effective communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
