Full Job Description

  • Attending customer appointments
  • Site investigations to locate and then check the meter
  • Prove supply of water via tap tests
  • Meter readings
  • Investigations into potential customer side leaks both internal, and external
  • Assisting the customer with the leak repair process & procedures

    Experience in a customer facing role
  • Able to read plans and schematics
  • Health & Safety focused with a responsible attitude
  • Enjoys working outdoors
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal drive and commitment to succeed, achieving daily targets
  • Comfortable to work alone and enjoys doing a great job
  • Full UK driving licence - You would be required to drive yourself between appointments and sites using a company Van
  • A good geographical knowledge of the Hampshire area will be highly advantageous as efficient route planning across the whole region is a must

    RPS are looking for a Trainee Customer Side Leakage (CSL) Technician to join the Asset Survey team to work on our South-East & South-West Water contract covering Kent. This role would be responsible for attending appointments at customer's properties to ascertain potential leaks on the customer's property and so, would be customer facing. This is an essential role in reducing leakage in our client's water distribution network., This is an exciting time to join RPS and be involved in providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication, and team work to help us meet our clients' needs.

    This is a permanent, full-time contract (40hrs pw) paying real living wage. For the right individual, full training would be provided.
