Full Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Application Support Analyst to oversee the support and maintenance of Pret's finance application portfolio. This role is tasked with planning and coordinating the processes needed to ensure user applications are set for essential business operations. This individual must be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the company, offering guidance and assistance to user groups on issues related to the use, maintenance, support, and deployment of vital information and software systems. Communication with operational departments and stakeholders will be part of the day-to-day activities. The individual will be required to have strong interpersonal skills, great organisational skills, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Customer Service and relationship building is a key driver for this role. While communicating with end users, the Application Support Analyst will be liaising with external suppliers and support teams ensuring not only fast resolutions also that the appropriate action has been taken. Clear communication is a pivotal part of this role. Responsibilities

  • Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfil end user requests and identify system improvements.
  • Manages NetSuite new releases, understand the new features, manages the testing and works with the stakeholders to improve processes as part of the new releases
  • Provide ongoing support of our financial systems and coordinate with our 3rd party vendors on issues that cannot be resolved internally.
  • Works with the relevant SME/Product Owners to understand small change requests and their priorities and manages these changes in operational sprints
  • Working closely with the finance and transformation team to plan larger change through the pipeline process.
  • Review and analyze existing finance applications effectiveness and efficiency and develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
  • Work with the IT service desk to build knowledge articles to set them up for support success.
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage and best practices.
  • Build lasting relationships with 3rd parties and work with them for prompt resolutions for any problems or emergencies.
  • Provide internal RCA for known issues and have the ability to interrogate RCAs from third party vendors and other departments.
  • Building and fostering greater relationship with other departments and building lasting internal support networks
  • Assist in QA process for all new finance applications and provide services/support to project management teams working to implement new systems and applications within the business.
  • Research and make recommendations on software products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
  • Contribute to the design and development of application enhancements and upgrades.
  • Understand end-to-end testing and partake in User Acceptance Testing for Applications.
  • Maintaining and developing procedure and training documents that promote best practice and ensure consistent service delivery across the team
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new members of the team.
  • The role may be required to participate in out-of-hours work from time-to-time as the business need arises.

    Understanding of NetSuite logical architecture and customizations options
  • Netsuite administration experience essential
  • Strong understanding of core finance business processes
  • Experience of retail systems and processes.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to conduct research into application issues and products.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
