FTTH Engineer

The FTTH Engineer is responsible for the installation of 'Fibre to the Home' broadband services to residential customers. As a customer-facing, field-based role, high levels of customer service and producing a quality service is paramount.

• Installation of FTTH broadband services to residential premises, including carrying out external and internal cabling work.
• Working at heights up to 15 metres, including working on Telegraph poles and ladders
• Delivering professional and quality customer service
• Self-auditing work to ensure it meets all company and client standards
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards, including carrying out daily checks to ensure safe to use
• Maintenance of a clean and tidy environment at all times
• Prepared to work in all weather conditions, A Full UK Driving License is essential due to the field-based nature of the role, candidates must have held this license for 1 year and have a maximum of 6 points.
• Full training will be provided to the right candidate, however candidates with experience working on the BT Openreach network and hold NRSWA Street Works qualifications are desirable.
• Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and clients
• Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles, with liaison with Team Managers
• Ability to take direction from management and carry out works in an efficient and timely manner
• Dedication to delivering high levels of customer service
