Head of Quality Management & Assurance

A key objective of the Sovereign Network Group is to ensure that all the homes we own are at an agreed standard (Homes and Place Standard) by 2050. This will ensure that homes are fit for the future in terms of design, construction, condition, sustainable within sustainable neighbourhoods. We are seeking a Head of Quality Management and Assurance on a part time basis of 15 hours per week, on a fixed term contract until June 2025., The purpose of the Head of Quality Management and Assurance is to raise quality standards, culture and outcomes, reduce operational cost inefficiencies and deliver excellent customer satisfaction. The Head of Quality Management and Assurance will lead a team of Quality and Technical Advisors through the implementation of a new Quality Management Process and Protocols when delivering S106, Land-Led, Regeneration, JV and mixed-use opportunities exacting technical, compliance standards, as we proceed towards a regulatory-compliant and net-zero future. Responsibilities include:

• Creation and implementation of new sector-leading Quality Standard to facilitate high-quality cost-effective design, procurement and build outcomes, delivering improved efficiencies, high Customer Satisfaction and reduction in latent defects and avoidable costs.
• Developing and delivering the new Quality Manual to accompany 's new Homes and Place design and technical standard
• Managing a team of regionally based Quality and Technical Advisors / Inspectors (QTAs) ensuring high standards, KPIs, consistency and effectiveness are being met
  
  Proven Quality Management experience working with a Housing Warranty provider, Main Contractor, Housebuilder or similar.
• Widespread technical, statutory compliance and warranty / insurance knowledge and keep up to date with the ever-changing statutory compliance landscape
• Expert, up-to-date knowledge of sustainability and a pathway to achieving net-zero
• Recent knowledge of all house-building technologies, methods, MMC and materials
• Knowledge of relevant technology utilising Microsoft Office Desk Top software, Integrated document management and site inspection platforms
