Full Job Description

Here at Serco, we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused HR Administrator to join our dynamic HR Shared Services team on a 7-month fixed term contract. In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert guidance on HR queries across all aspects of the employee lifecycle via telephone, email, and webchat, ensuring seamless support and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and business rules. Your exceptional communication skills and dedication to delivering outstanding customer service will help us maintain our reputation for excellence, making a real impact as you contribute to a high-performing team.,

  • Clarify the needs of our customers by answering inquiries, educating, and bringing to resolution at the earliest point of intervention within agreed service level agreements and business rules via telephone, email, and webchat.
  • Provide excellent customer service on all administrative guidance on transactional and HR related queries.
  • Make outbound contact with the customers to assist in resolution of queries or an employee life cycle event.
  • Support with Absence Management administrative queries.
  • Support with GDPR requests in line with data protection legislation from the point of receipt to collating the information, selecting the relevance, and ensuring a bundle is handed over to the HR Advisory Team to start the redaction in accordance with GRPR legislative timeframes.
  • Be responsible for administrative duties within the HR Shared Service including post in/out, updating of People Services collateral including the People Services Contact Details Sheet.
  • Understands the expectations of customers and delivers service that meets and exceeds customer's needs within policy guidelines. Identifies and escalates issues that impact the delivery of quality service.

    Must be able to demonstrate experience in a Customer Service Environment.
  • Numerate and literate, with GCSE`s in Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Have excellent communication skills, be flexible and friendly, with a high level of self-motivation & initiative.
  • Exceedingly well organised, flexible and someone who likes to work under challenges and pressure.
  • Have a strong telephone etiquette.
  • Manage your time effectively in order to complete heavy workload and meet deadlines.
  • CIPD is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working to agreed targets and SLA's.
