Join our Accord team as a Team Manager, where you'll develop your team's skills and help them become future-ready as Accord continues to evolve and grow., In this role, you will mentor and develop your team, ensuring that lending quality and service goals are met. You will also support your direct reports in establishing and maintaining strong, effective long-term relationships with intermediaries and internal colleagues. Additionally, you will :

  • Understand the strategic direction of Intermediary Distribution and its regional impact.
  • Ensure the business development team supports sales activities and operational needs to meet lending plans and standards, collaborating with Underwriting and processing teams.
  • Partner with relevant departments to deliver a exceptional customer experience based on simplicity, empathy, and trust.
  • Lead daily activities in the retail broker programme, working with the retail sales network and cross-functional areas.
  • Act as the first line of defence to ensure compliance with Accord's terms, policies, governance framework, as well as our inclusion & diversity charter.

    You'll be passionate about delivering great customer service and have experience of leading teams and effectively operationalizing strategic plans. Alongside this, you'll have :
  • Excellent working knowledge of the mortgage intermediary industry and product.
  • An understanding and experience of strong and inclusive leadership.
  • The ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to demonstrate high proficiency in digital literacy
  • Working practice of effectively supervising in a regulated environment
  • The ability to convert divisional strategy and goals into operational plans
