Full Job Description

Your job role will be to ensure our network operators and engineers have the best-in-class tooling to help operate the OCI network at scale. You will leverage excellence in communication, technical/business analysis, problem solving and attention to detail to methodically resolve issues and help deliver new capabilities to network operations staff. You will be working in a dev ops team, experiencing both development and operations. As a Network Reliability Developer Intern you will be involved with:

  • Augment current operational tools with enhanced capabilies.
  • Assist in deployment of new automation and capabilities.
  • Work to Resolve Bugs Raised by Network Operators
  • Work and build relationships with peripheral software teams to ensure the tooling and automation they produced is appropriate for the environment.
  • Listen to network operator feedback and log this as feature requests
  • Develop internal tooling and automation to assist with issues raised by operators.
  • Build relationships with peripheral teams

    1. Undergraduate students completing a university placement programme 2. Studying for a University degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Technical based disciplines 3. Articulate - strong presentation skills 4. You will be Tech savvy and have a passion for technology, network infrastructure and programming. 5. Interest in network infrastructure, programming, cloud technology. 6. Basic level of Python or Bash programming. 7. Demonstrated ability to plan and manage tasks and follow-up actions 8. Great documentation skills 9. High energy, confident, outgoing, and proactive 10. Creative
