Full Job Description

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our L3 Service Support Team. The role involves analysing and resolving live defects, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the stability of critical operations.,

  • Analyze, fix, and triage live defects in collaboration with the development team.
  • Conduct daily health checks to maintain operational stability.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical and functional product issues.
  • Adhere to SLAs for response and resolution times.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams, including developers and business stakeholders.

    Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JUnit, and relational databases (eg, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of AWS services (ECS, EKS, S3, SQS) and Kubernetes.
    • Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of Docker, ReactJS, NodeJS, Apache Kafka, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with large-scale integration projects and tools like ELK stack., Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK - SC Eligible.

    On-Call Rotation:
  • Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00 regular hours, with on-call coverage for P1 incidents during evenings and weekends.
  • On-call allowance: £25 per 8-hour shift, plus additional hourly rate for call-out work.
