Full Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team for a critical project with NHS England. The project involves migrating Privacy Enhancement Technology (PET) from the existing Privitar system to IQVIA across multiple data platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, platform architecture, and a deep understanding of NHS data platforms and data pseudonymization techniques. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of PET from Privitar to IQVIA across multiple data platforms.
  • Design and implement robust data engineering solutions to support the migration. Good background with Data Privacy & Protection techniques
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address data requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data migration and integration.

    Proven experience as a Lead Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Privacy Enhancement Technologies (PET).
  • Experience with NHS data platforms and data pseudonymization techniques.
  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, ETL processes).
  • Solid understanding of platform architecture and data integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with IQVIA data platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards in healthcare.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
