Full Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dev Lead/Tech Lead to join our team and lead the maintenance and improvements of our PHP applications. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of PHP Symfony and will be responsible for leading a team of developers in the design, development and deployment of high-quality software. He or she will be responsible for overseeing developments for four applications, implementing Agile methodologies and ensuring its successful delivery. The position will require the management of offshore resources and numerous interactions with interlocutors based in France and abroad. The Role:

  • Lead PHP/Symfony application development activities.
  • Coordinate development efforts, assign tasks, and provide advice and mentorship.
  • Define and enforce development processes and standards (GIT type)
  • Coach and guide the development team in best practices and architectural decisions.
  • Develop and maintain clean, reusable and efficient code.
  • Implement Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to effectively manage the business.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing and validation testing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.
  • Oversee deployment processes, ensure system reliability, and resolve performance issues.

    Strong application development skills with the Symfony Framework
  • Proven experience as a "Dev Lead" or "Tech Lead", overseeing development projects.
  • Experience in offshore development team management
  • Very good level of English essential
  • Azure DevOps knowledge for source control, CI/CD and deployment.
  • Experience in setting up APIs and maintaining them
  • Expertise in the implementation of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
