Lead QA Tester

Join our world leading multinational financial technology client, that provides payment processing and technology services to merchants and financial institutions. As a Lead QA/Tester, you'll drive quality assurance strategies, lead a team of testers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. In this role, you'll oversee both manual and automated testing, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and enhance QA processes to support continuous improvement. Role & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Develop test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create and maintain testing documentation.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, security, and compatibility.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Identify, isolate, and document defects with clear and detailed steps for reproduction.
• Automation:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Implement and utilize automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with developers to promote and integrate automated testing into the development process.
• Work closely with the release management team to plan and coordinate software releases.
• Ensure that all necessary testing is completed before software is released to production.
• Provide inputs to release notes, documentation, and deployment plans.
  
  8+ years' experience in designing and development of Test Automation framework.
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, methodologies, and processes.
• Knowledge and working experience in API test automation.
• Hands on working knowledge of Database (either SQL Server or DB2)
• Experience in Test Automation tools and frameworks Evaluations, POC and RD.
Desirable Skills:
• Working knowledge of tool and technologies like Jenkins, TeamCity, GIT, JIRA
• Working knowledge of CI/CD implementation, DevOps Principles and Practices
• Comfortable diving into the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable test automation solutions
• Good to have hands on experience on Scripting languages like JavaScript, Type Script
• Knowledge of Test Automation methodologies like BDD, Data Driven and Keyword Driven frameworks
• Good knowledge of build tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant/Ivy.
