We are looking for an inspiring individual to administer our new learning programme to bring history to life and ensure our learning service is delivering the best service to local schools! Without you, teachers and pupils will not have those exciting opportunities to discover the Museum and its collections… At the Museum, we are dedicated to sparking lifelong learning through engaging exhibits, hands-on experiences, and innovative sessions. As the Museum Learning Officer, you'll be at the heart of shaping these memorable visitor experiences. You'll oversee the running of our dynamic educational programme for schools, ensuring every visitor leaves with a deeper connection to history and a thirst for knowledge.

As a centre for culture and education, we aim to connect people of all ages with the wonders of our collections. To be successful in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to allow you to communicate with all our schools plus prioritise workloads and ensure our high service standards are maintained. We also need your can-do attitude to help build working relationships with local educators to ensure our learning sessions are fully booked, running smoothly and delivering an unforgettable, exceptional experience, meaning schools will continue to re-book and return to the museum year after year!, It is a legal requirement, under the Immigration Act 2016, that anyone appointed to a 'customer facing role' must be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English.
