Full Job Description

As MHE, Procurement & Innovation Manager you will oversee the sourcing, selection and purchasing of all LTR MHE equipment. Working closely with sites and suppliers to ensure they receive the best deal to match their requirements, so strong negotiation skills would be beneficial. You will take ownership as the main point of contact for all MHE requests or updates within the business, therefore you will need to have a knowledge and experience of working with MHE equipment. Although this is a standalone role you will be part of a wider team and could be overseeing several projects at once, having six sigma experience could be advantageous to help you succeed within the role. As technology is ever changing the way we work, at Culina we are always looking to move with the times and keep up with technology. Alongside the day to day, this role offers the opportunity to research and understand the future MHE technology/options on offer; that could have a positive impact within success of the business and change the way we work. This role does require frequent travel across the UK and potentially some overnight stays, so the successful candidate will need to be flexible and have a willingness to travel. What will you be doing?

  • Process all MHE site requests relating to Long-Term Fleet
  • Liaise with suppliers to visit sites to audit and agree requirements
  • Agree full specification / numbers of requested MHE
  • Point of escalation for all sites regarding LTR procurement
  • Keep up to date with news items and process updates as detailed on the ESL Intranet system.
  • Working with internal and external departments to communicate relevant information relating to equipment requested
  • Liaising and engaging with Regional Operations Managers to work seamlessly with sites
  • Any other duties, in line with the pay grade as deemed necessary.
