Full Job Description

  • P&L Ownership: Lead and manage the entire P&L, ensuring accurate forecasting and the delivery of monthly sales and profit targets.
  • Customer Strategy: Build and execute a winning short and long-term strategy for growth, becoming the key voice of the customer internally.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key Sainsbury's buyers. Handle challenging conversations with confidence, turning obstacles into opportunities.
  • Execution Excellence: Negotiate and implement growth-driving initiatives, combining creativity with sound commercial judgment.
  • Insight-Led Decisions: Conduct store visits, analyzing competitor activity and adjacent categories to build robust plans that deliver results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Set high standards for internal reporting, performance reviews, and communication with cross-functional teams.

    Proven experience in a customer-facing commercial role, ideally within FMCG
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage tough conversations
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach under pressure
  • Branded product experience in a fast-moving environment
  • Creativity and energy to challenge the status quo and seek new opportunities
  • Excellent prioritization skills and workload management, balancing strategic and operational demands
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with teams toward shared goals
