Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to serve as the backbone of The Nest's diverse mental health and wellbeing services. This role involves overseeing key operational functions within the team while providing essential support to managers. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, data management, and processing referrals from the initial point of entry through to client discharge. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a supportive environment that fosters positive outcomes for our clients. The Nest The Nest is Groundwork London's mental health support service, specifically designed for young people aged 0 to 25 living in the London Borough of Southwark. This free, open access, and confidential service focuses on providing early intervention and preventive support for various emotional challenges, including anxiety and stress. The Nest offers a range of therapeutic options, including one-on-one therapy, group activities, and creative therapies such as art and music therapy. These sessions aim to create a supportive environment where young people can explore their feelings and develop emotional resilience. The service also includes a Wellbeing Youth Forum, virtual resources, and workshops/therapy for parents and caregivers to improve overall family well-being., Groundwork London works with communities across the capital to transform their lives and the places they live. Applicants to this post must have successfully completed training as therapeutic practitioner and be able to evidence their use of the necessary knowledge and capabilities in CYP-IAPT principles, evidence-based interventions, and routine outcome measures. Key requirements:

  • Experience of office management and/or providing project operational support to a team in the mental health, wellbeing, or health sectors
  • Knowledge and understanding of the barriers children and families face when accessing support
  • Experience of undertaking a range of duties including data entry, appointment booking and waitlist management.
  • Previous experience of using and managing monitoring and quality management systems
