Full Job Description

Are you a dynamic leader looking for a rewarding role in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to directly improve patient experience?

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has a proven track record of operational leadership with a particular interest in using performance data (qualitative and quantitative) to help us develop strategies with measurable outcomes.

You will oversee the effective day-to-day running of the clinic management team at both York and Scarborough and will be required to have onsite presence at both sites, motivating and supporting teams through a business change programme. Ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care, whilst managing budgets, staffing, and operational targets. You will be expected to collaborate closely with teams across the 5 Hospitals to drive service improvements, manage resources, and ensure compliance with NHS standards and policies.

Main duties of the job

To support the delivery and development of improved performance across organisation(s) via improved administrative pathways

To promote quality improvement

To lead on specific programmes pertaining to patient administrative pathway improvement

To work closely with end users to understand current business processes and to critically appraise how best technology and/or process improvements can support their day-to-day work, using project management methodology

To follow a methodical approach to elicit and document user requirements and be adept at translating these requirements into functional specifications using Trust templates and other tools

To be able to process complex information and exemplary attention to detail are key requirements of the role

The post holder will deputise for the Senior Operational Manager as required.
