The team…
Adult Social Care Direct is the contact centre for all enquiries into Adult Social Care, this includes referrals for Care Act assessments, Safeguarding concerns, Information and Advice, Mental Health Act assessments as well as other enquiries. The team is made up of an Operational Lead and Contact Coordinators. The team receive enquiries and referrals from a number of a range of people such as service users families or other professionals as well as in different formats i.e. telephone and on line forms.
About the role…
The Operational Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management of the team reporting to the Team Manager. As Operational Lead you will be required to support the Team Manager with the development and maximising of team performance this will include regular supervision and Achievement and Development with the Contact coordinators.
You will be involved in recruitment, absence management and monitoring and investigations when required. Support interagency working including working with other Team Managers in Adult Social Care to ensure the service is well-coordinated and working effectively therefore providing a high-quality service. To quality assure enquires and decisions ensuring the appropriate pathway at first contact. To collate and produce data information to monitor and measure performance and to continue improve the quality of the service. Priduce and develop policies and procedures to ensure the service is delivering consistent and timely service to all customers.

You'll be paid a competitive salary between £37,938 to £40,476 pa
