Full Job Description

This role is fixed term until 31st December 2025. Due to the promotion of the current post-holder, we require an Operational Manager for the hospital teams which includes, Hospital See & Solve, Hospital Locality and Progress to Discharge teams. You will have operational and strategic development responsibility for functions within the team to ensure competent and confident management/leadership and practice. You will champion and direct staff to engage and implement Adult Social Care values, vision and strategy to support people to have a life not a service.
We are looking for an individual who can build strong relationships across all system partners to maximise our vision of 'A Life not a Service' and ensure that people who are experts in their own lives remain in control and identify their own solutions.
If you have experience of delivering operational services in a complex environment, we are looking for someone who can lead, challenge and promote the needs of people across health and social care.
You will have a professional social work or occupational therapy qualification registered with SW England or HCPC and be fully competent with current legislation and guidance.
