JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a skilled Planner (10 to 12-month maternity cover) to join the Outlet team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Outlet Planning and Merchandising Team with administrative and analytical tasks. Key responsibilities include managing regular BAU reporting, delivering actionable insights, and providing trading recommendations. Collaborating with regional, IT, sourcing, and inventory teams, the role ensures accurate reporting and deep analysis of sales, margins, and inventory, driving better decisions and improved business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Weekly Trade Reports: Analyse weekly trade reports to identify trends and inform trade actions; support decisions and performance with ad-hoc research.
-Category Insights: Report on category performance and key KPIs, offering actionable recommendations based on data.
-Line Card Management: Set up, maintain and update Line Cards weekly, sharing findings to guide team strategies.
-Regional Markdown Support: Advise regional teams on markdown strategies to optimise results.
-Delist Stock Management: Monitor the stock consolidation and distribution, collaborating with regional teams to increase efficiency.
-NSS Tracking: Monitor and analyse NSS progress, delivering post-launch performance insights.
-High Stock & Liquidation Plans: Identify excess inventory and develop actionable liquidation strategies.
-Orderbook Management: Work with Global Sourcing, Order Management and Customer Operations teams to ensure a clean and aligned orderbook.
-Delivery Performance: Track and evaluate OTIF (On Time, In Full) metrics, setting improvement goals with teams.
-IT Reporting Issues: Identify and resolve reporting issues in collaboration with IT.

PERSONAL PROFILE
-Proven planning experience in a similar sector with a strong grasp of analytical tools and attention to detail.
-Effective time management to balance BAU tasks and ad-hoc requirements, with the ability to manage projects and independently identify actions from data sets and reporting.
-Confident communicator capable of working cross-functionally, driving insights into action.
-Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP (or similar retail software)
